Hello, I'm Karina Angela, a 7th-semester Information Technology student at Universitas Sumatera Utara. Throughout my academic journey, I've developed a strong interest in cloud computing, cloud computing and IT project management. My hands-on experience with various projects has deepened my understanding of database management and web development. I have also joined the laboratory assistant group to upgrade my skills and teamwork abilities. As a dedicated and enthusiastic learner, I am always open to new challenges and opportunities to expand my expertise in Information Technology.

UI/UX DESIGN

Here are some UI/UX Design projects where I applied Design Thinking, Figma for Design, Prototyping, and Teamwork. Both projects were team-based (3 members) and aimed at meeting the criteria of design competitions.

KedeKu

KedeKu is a sales recording app and cashier machine clone with barcode recognition, designed to help SMEs in Indonesia streamline operations, track transactions, and scale efficiently.

Sekayu

Sekayu is an E-commerce application designed for woodcraft artisans in Indonesia. It includes a VR feature that allows buyers to visualize how products would fit into their spaces, enhancing the shopping experience with immersive technology.

Web Development

The projects below were developed as part of major assignments for specific courses. In these projects, I was responsible for designing the database, determining the application flow, and developing the backend.

News Portal Website

E-zone is a news web portal built with PHP Native. Users can read articles and leave comments, while the admin has full CRUD capabilities for managing users, categories, and news content.

Here are my cloud computing projects where I applied cloud architecture design, deployment, and scaling strategies on Google Cloud platforms. The project were team-based (7 members) from different backgrounds and focused on building scalable, efficient cloud solutions to meet specific use cases.

NutriLens empowers individuals to make healthier choices by providing clear, accessible nutritional information, featuring a scan function that rates foods based on sugar content, fat, and other key nutrients.
